Instant Clutter-Free Real-Time Video and Web Collaboration with Kollaborate.io

Instant Clutter-Free Real-Time Video and Web Collaboration with Kollaborate.io | Online Collaboration Tools | Scoop.it
Robin Good's insight:

Kollaborate.io is a full-featured real-time collaboration app which allows you to instantly meet with customers, students or teammates without needing to login, install or download anything.

Kollaborate.io integrates video conferencing, VoIP, whiteboarding, document and image sharing, text chat, as well as the ability to auto-archive content and to easily invite other people into a meeting.

Whatever you load, resize or move on the collaboration desktop is also resized and repositioned for everyone else. Everyone sees the same thing.

One unique feature of Kollaborate.io is its clutter-free interface, which completely disappears in the background when it is not needed.

Definitely worth a try.

Free version available.

Pro versions ($9.99 or $29.99/mo) provide ability to have private and password-protected meetings and with the more expensive plan, to access the archive and schedule meetings.

*It's not clear from the web site information how many people are effectively supported in a conference, with or without video.

Screen-Share With Anyone Instantly with 321Meet

Screen-Share With Anyone Instantly with 321Meet | Online Collaboration Tools | Scoop.it

Robin Good: 321Meet is a new web-based service which allows anyone with a computer to easily share the screen with anyone else connected to the Internet without the need to install or download anything.

The service is very simple to use. You only need to input your name, email and preferred password and you are ready to go.

321Meet utilizes a Java-based applet which automatically loads in the background without ever requiring any installation or download on the part of the user.

In a 321Meet event the meeting host can decide at any point to share his desktop or a specific applicaton or to let any of the participants share their screen in his place. Alternatively, any of the participants can "share" his own webcam video with everyone else.

Free to use. Ad-supported.

Upcoming Plus and Pro versions will offer an ad-free experience, multiple private rooms, a branded start page, password protection, extra security and more.

A Slick New Way To Conference, Collaborate and Present Across Devices: Meet.fm

A Slick New Way To Conference, Collaborate and Present Across Devices: Meet.fm | Online Collaboration Tools | Scoop.it

Robin Good's insight:

Meet.fm is an outstanding new web conferencing app that provides permanent cloud-based meeting rooms and which supports video, audio-conferencing and VoIP, scree-sharing, co-browsing, file sharing, and more.

From the same guys that originally brought you YouDazzle.com, here is a new web conferencing app that really shines in terms of design, ease of use and functionalities offered.

Meet.fm can be used both as a collaborative platform, where every participant can engage, talk and contribute to the session, as well as a webinar-like tool, where there is essentially one presenter guiding the overall attendee experience.

The Meet.fm interface can be personalized with your custom colors and logo and you have the opportunity to tap into most of the major cloud services, directly from Meet.fm. Right now Box.net, Dropbox, Google Drive, and Evernote are all supported. You can upload any file you have sitting on those services and share it or present it immediately to your Meet.fm attendees.

Meet.fm offers a free plan that allows for about eight hours/monthly of one permanent fully-featured 1GB collaboration room for a max of 3 people. Piad plans allow for unlimited time, rooms and for 500+ participants and 100GB of storage (at $199/mo top plan).
