Masterwork Machinima: . Celestial Elf, one of Second Life's greatest machinima artists, scores yet again with A Viking Journey to England.  This machinima is very atmospheric, has great sound effects, and shows yet again why Celestial Elf is perhaps the greatest machinima artist filming in Second Life

BOOFest is one of four annual events produced by StoryFest Events which also include The Dickens Project (December), Bard on the Virtual Beach (August) , and the original event StoryFest which has been held every March since 2011.  "These festivals have a great energy, and we are continually pleased and amazed at the range of stories and storytellers who participate," reported festival organizers.  "We really had no idea it would grow like this from one event, and we'll keep on producing them until there is a good reason to stop."

From October 1st to October 31st, I am honored to be a guest artist at the beautiful Emmalena Damour’s Gallery own by the wonderful Emma Damour who is curating this beautiful place. When you first enter the gallery, you are immediately struck by the beauty of all the art pieces on display.

Important notes: Please have in mind that Berlin1920 is a RP sim. That means you have to downsize your avatar to realistic size and to wear appropriate clothes. Freebies are provided at the landing spot or you can go shopping at the shopping area in front of the RP sim. Inappropriate avatars will be removed. If you feel you would need some help regarding the outfit, please feel free to contact me. Please have in mind too that flying and doubleclick is not possible. You have to walk into the train station and to sit in the train to get into the RP area.
I know, some preparation is needed, but you will be repaid with a special experience of the Roaring 20s! We are waiting for you!

Opening today, Wednesday, October 23 at 1:30 pm at the Red Lines Gallery, is an exhibition of recent photography by Miuccia Klaar entitled All around. The twenty-two images in the exhibit focus on "landscapes all around Second Life" (therefore its name), and include captures from a number of now-disappeared sims

Ich hatte ja am Ende meines ersten Postings zum FdL geschrieben, dass ich noch mal was am Montag nachreiche. Aus Zeitgründen gibt es vorrangig Fotos.
Am Samstag habe ich noch drei und am Sonntag zwei Events des FdL besucht. Erste Station am Samstag war eine Vernissage-Konzert-Kombination von Harter Fall und Jana Kyomoon. Das Ganze fand auf dem Oberdeck eines Schiffes in der Region LING Vision statt.

It's a week full of events in Second Life. First and foremost there's the  Burn2 festival, the largest art and music festival in Second Life, which  takes place every year. Besides the Burn, there are various Halloween  happenings, like the Epilepsy benefit Horrorfest. And of course there are  the regularly scheduled events, such as the book and poetry readings, live  and DJ music events, discussions and talk shows, races, and church services. Join us at 2pm SLT today, Monday 21st October, for Designing Worlds at our studio in Garden of Dreams, as we take a look at the fascinating phenomenon of civil aviation in Second Life.

Dream of India is a sim-sized exhibit celebrating the Indian subcontinent. Indian builds, art, fashion, flora and fauna all come together here; it is a feat for the eyes. I especially liked the pavilions and interiors reminiscent of the great Moghul builds which lie outside the main exhibit area. Dream of India will be open through the end of November.
