Flipped learning or Flipped classroom or is a methodology, an approach to learning in which technology is employed to reverse the traditional role of classroom time. If in the past, classroom time is spent at lecturing to students , now in a flipped model, this time is utilized to encourage individualized learning and provide one-on-one help to students, and also to improve student-teacher interaction.

Témoignage intéressant d'un enseignant qui , après avoir mis des vidéos à disposition de ses étudiants dans le cadre d'une pédagogie inversée, s'interroge sur la suite...il met à profit le temps dégagé en présentiel pour être plus proche de ses étudiants, pour leur permettre de travailler de manière collaborative en petits groupes et pour qu'ils créent eux-mêmes des contenus..

Flipping a classroom does not mean simply making a collection of videos. The videos must be relevant to what the students are studying and should be able to provoke discussions in the classroom.
