This seems a bit pointless. You could go and just watch a documentary about the place and it would be the same thing as having your teacher go to this place and talk about it. It is pretty sweet looking though.

I agree, it seems like cool technology, but you miss out on actually experiencing the place yourself! This would be like watching a virtual tour of DC instead of taking the trip there, it would get dull very fast.

the article and video show a very direct way that google glass can be used to visualize a field trip for a classroom. I added it because its much less of a future option and much more of a current day technology option.
