Chatbox makes it easy to discuss or comment on files shared over Dropbox. Install it, right click on any files / folders inside Dropbox, and start conversations with people you shared the Dropbox folder with.
Use it for commenting and annotating files OR for simple project collaboration around folders with relevant files inside. It works offline and syncs whenever you're next online. Chatbox stores everything inside Dropbox. You don't need to register another account.

Every once in a very long while, I get to review a product that strikes me as a stepping stone toward the future. Microsoft Lync 2010 combines instant messaging, VoIP calling, live meetings, and videoconferencing, but it's more than the sum of these parts. Students from the MIT Media Lab have married Microsoft’s Kinect with videoconferencing, a combination that promises to take long-distance video communication to new heights.
The project, called “Kinected Conference,” employs a Kinect camera and sound sensors to expand the entire system’s understanding of the conferencing area.
A typical conference, in which images are rendered in unintelligent two-dimensional pixels, suddenly comes alive with three-dimensional pixels that can sense who’s talking, adjust the camera’s focus, remove background elements and measure distances between objects.
